How to fix overheating rads?

Take off trv head,possibly bi directional valve on valve body,indicated by 2 arrows,1 in and 1 out,turn heating on,if trv pipe heats first,posistion arrow in to rad on valve body and outwards if its the second pipe to heat,therefore giving you better control over rad with thermostat.
