i've told Liz [see reply] I'll send same picture of the toilet works. Yes the pump is under the toilet roll holder that just lifts out. One screw holds the cage the pump is in. But a word of warning on pump replacement DON't try pulling the cable clear IF you can disconnect from switch you'll never get the new one in read my answer to Liz's question. interested then send email and I'll send the picture. robertwhiting76@hotmail.com

One tip I forgot to tell Liz was on a jammed pump turn the vain at the bottom of the pump with small screw driver until it feels free running then to test it just drop it in the tank and see if it works. And never run any submersable pump out of water [dry].

If it is the same as in our van I found the micro switch in the groove that the blade turn knob slids into when casset is returned into compartment. This is at the end of the push down rod for electric flush and opening the toilet blade. If confused 07764229544 Andy. I have a problem of my own.

Hi when hubby changed our pump it was located under the toilet roll holder, we have the bench type thetford toilet. Liz

Hi We have a Thetford Bench type toilet electric pump, pump stopped working, hubby replaced pump, worked for about 1 day, has now stopped working again, someone suggested the micro switch gets stuck, could you tell me please where is the micro switch, or other suggestions why the new pump is not working.
