I can't strart my beetle riding lawnmower and can't find instructions?

I have a parts manual for this with the wiring schematic. There is a pictoral breakdown of the entire machine. No operating instructions yet but I have them coming also. However it basically states that you must be on the seat to activate the pressure switch, have the left pedal for the blades disengaged and depress the inner pedal on the right ( brake),have the throttle up to the rabbit position,turn the key and when the engine starts move throttle to half.
There is a fuse between the solenoid and the key switch that could be blown. Have you checked it?

Bob,

You need to make sure that the top is closed correctly (seat activator to avoid starting unmanned) and the left foot handle for activating the knives is completely off.

By the way, if you get a copy of the manual, I'm interested as well since I also bought 2nd hand.....
