How do I swithch from tone to pulse on a G E cordless phone?

I moved to an area that is on the rotary dial. I have misplaced my manual and I need help to switch from touch tone to pulse. There is no switch on the base or handset. Model no. 269228GE1-D. It's a 900 MHZ. It does not have a display window. It's a very simple model.

Press the "Program" button until you hear 1 beep. Then press the # key. Then hold the "Program" key until you hear 1 LONG beep. It's done.
