Mend Hotpoint WM661200 1200 Spin Machine

how can i fix my model?

i have a hotpoint wm66 1200 spin washing machine and when it goes into spin mode i can hear metal rubbing sounds and when in full spin i t makes loud banging sounds can someone give me some advice on this problem thanks

Hotpoint Hotpoint WM661200 Household Appliances, Washing Machines 1200 Spin Machine

Most drums are suspended on springs,tip it over (unplug it first) and see if the bottom springs are broken or have come loose,if they are ok you will have to take the top off and ckeck the top springs.
