Prog 9 9 9 9 will allow you to open the box without activating the alarm. You will need to put the bell box into engineer mode or it will activate when you disconnect the wires ( it will have it's own internal battery) usually there is a link to disconnect, beware of high voltages in there if it has a strobe light.
