How do I fit a door interlock on a Hotpoint WD51?

isolate machine open door at the top of the door seal u will see a square plastic block that is actually two pieces,split them with a screwdriver and u release the retaining band free the door seal ,then release the two screws that hold the latch plate and lock in place,then carefully pull the door interlock to the edge of the hole and swap the wires like for like do not pull too hard as if you do you will loose the plastic retainer inside the machine that keeps the wiring in place then do everything in reverse and its job done
