How do I fix my Hotpoint aquarius WMA31,?dont know model number, sorry?

I recently bought my late mothers washer (please see above) but over the past few days I have noticed that it seems to be taking in water after use,it is completely empty of water after each wash. Its only 3 years old and was hardly used. I've had it a week and it seemed fine when I first used it. i have tried the advice in the troubleshooting section of instruction manual but nothing has worked so far, any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you
