Mend Ford Fiesta Mark 3 Light Problems Lights

ford fiesta mark 3 brake light problems?

the brake lights on my fiesta stay on when the ignition is switched on and when the engine is running.

the bulbs are for both stop and the lights , all functions work correctly apart from the brake lights stay on

any help appreciated, thanks

i had the same problem with my fiesta (old-'p'reg) when i looked at the pedal switch there was a 'rubber bumper' between pedal & switch which had dropped out. stuck it back with blu-tak....jobs a good'un!

brake switch on brake pedal is either faulty or needs adjusting-sometimes get knocked with feet.
