how do repair my mondeo est?

Can I fix a starter motor in a Ford Mondeo Est 1.8L,by putting it in reverse and rocking the car?(the car wont start and is only "clicking" when the key is turned in the ignition.)

That's the battery - almost certainly!!! Take it to your nearest tyre centre and they will check it for output AND the alternator. Will it bump start???
