how to attach the door to a Hotpoint Aquarius WM65?

hi this is going to sound daft. the back plate that fell into the machine has two holes in it the hinge has two round parts sticking out of it they just press together and screw up tight (you have to remove the door rubber to get your hand in and hold the back part while you get the screws in)
