My washing machine has been making progressively louder banging noises on its spin cycle until yesterday it got really loud and then stopped working completely mid-cycle (having moved 15cms across the floor and pulled the front of a drawer off). The display is completely lit up (all characters illuminated, not flashing) and none of the buttons seem to do anything. Tried unplugging for 10 mins and plugging back in but no joy. Any advice? Has it seen its last dirty sock?
