Mend Mitsubishi Cable Broke Help

cable connector broke off HELP?

my cable connector broke off, i don't know where it went or anything... i opened the back of the TV (mistubishi) and cannot see how to fix it?????? anyone know this stuff? there is no cable or connection that goes to the hole where the cable connector went thru ...?????

There will be a shiny metal box inside the tv that the connector was in. you have to carefully pry that box open slip the connector back into the hole in the side of it and re solder the center pin back into it's connector and the threaded outside part back to the wall of the box.
