Mend Leak Not See

how do i repair a leak i can not see?

i have a trailer sailer wooden one and at the back near the rudder i have a leak i know where it is but it seems to be inside the wood, it there any kind of sealent i can put over the area to fill the crack the seal it

take the boat out of the water. Sprinkle fine sawdist over the water. Put boat back in water. The water going in the leak will take some saw dust in with it, then the sawdust will swell and seal the leak.
