Mend Sharp XE-A102 Set Help Instructions

How do I add a decimal?

I am trying to set the decimal on my sharp XE-A102. Please help! I cannot understand the instructions. I also need help making a transaction. After I have rung up an item I need to push the big 1 button to register it but am not sure how to set it.
Please help?

ps i know the abcdefgh is supposed to represent numbers, but i don't get it.
