Mend Rover 400 Head Gasket Ideas

1996 rover 400 head gasket?

head gasket needs replacement,any ideas what this should cost,ive had some very high estimates between £300-£700.

a good estimate on a rover head gasket is from experince, around the £300-400 mark. genuine rover parts cost around £160 then obviously the labour from a garage differs. i would also recommend trying to source an "uprated" rover gasket. As rover head gaskets are common to fail. i belive rover do do an uprated version, although the cost is higher. bottom line is find a reputable garage, that is cheapest!!
