Mend Baxi 24op Intermittent Heating Flame

alpha 24op combi intermittent hot water?

the hot water on my combi goes from hot to cold in 2min cycles, the flame goes out and delivers cold then reignites to give hot water. as you can imagine this is a nightmare when trying to run a bath can anyone help??

maybe a fault with the dhw sensor, hard to tell without testing boiler for problem.
