Just use a old wire coat hanger, bend a length of it in half, hey presto. Make sure you make two though and insert them into the side holes at each side of the stereo, it will force the retaining clips away alowing you to grab the stereo by the face plate to slide out

Depending on the fixing type, you may need to buy an extractor tool to release the unit. If there is a small round hole at each corner of the unit, Halfords can sell you a cheap tool to release the hidden fixings.
