i tried the chardonnay, didnt work. mp3 player just got drunk. and how do you mean "charge" it, i have a manual, and it says nothing about charging

try replacing the batteries. try reversin the batteries. try charging the unit.

if none of the above works, try putting on some Barry White (on another music player, of course), dimming the lights, maybe a nice bottle of chardonnay... that MP3 player should be turned on in no time.
