where do i find the thermostat on a 1995 ford escort 1.9?

i have very little heat and wanted to change the thermostat thinking that would help but i cant find it

on ur rad there are two hose's one at the top and one at the bottom both lead to the engine if u follow the one at the top of ur rad back to the engine where the hose enters the engine there should be a bolt on part in there is ur thermostat
