peugeot speedfight 100cc wont run reed valve clearence?

Hi my peugeot speedfight 100cc no longer runs as a friend adjusted the reed valves to make it quicker. He has also adjusted the settings on the carb. Does anybody know what the correct clearance is for the reed valves and the mixture on the carb

the reed valve when sucked inward should not allow any air to flow . the air should flow only when BLOWN outward . meaning when the valve is fitted on the engine the reed will open during the suction stroke and on the downward stroke the valve will close immeidately and not allow any air to flow back .

u cant realy ajust it to a certain point youjust have to keep altering both untill the bike continues to run.
it is just trial and error untill then
ps it wont cause any damage to the bike
