hp desktop 3820?

My printer has started acting up and will not print. The catridge within has moved all the way to the right and will not change position when i hit the print button, and the lights on the printer all keep blinking. Is there anything I can do about this problem? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer software, but this has not helped.
