ford mondeo diesel cuts out?

is it cutin out at idle or under load-exelaratin -high speed, cud do ureself a fave and change the fuel filter its probled bunged up, ive got a festa with a ENDURA-DE engin the filters on the right side of the engin looks kinda like a coke can with a flat blade screw head on it and 2 black push fit pipes. the pipes are quikfit types -squeez and pull both off, use spanner to undo the clamp bolt and pull up to remove, drop in and tighten up the new filter fit the pipes -push fit the same way round as the old one, check the drain screw underneeth is done up then undo the flat head screw on top somehow get about half a liter of diesel through this hole, wen it overflows put back the screw ,try startin it-foot flat to the floor, it should bleed its self through, good luk
