Homelite 25 cc gas weed trimmer starts but dies or won't rev when you open the throttel. Cleaned plug, checked fuel line and filter.

If you have used the trimmer for a long time the exhaust could be carboned up. The gas flow in the exhaust is important in creating a vacume for more fuel. Removing the carbon in not fun.

There might be a vacuum actuated fuel pump on the carb. Could have become too stiff or broken.
