there are a few possible causes the most common is carbon brushes in the motor. if its a wm series the motor is at the top so 2 screws to take the lid off and the brushes just clip out
if they are short they will need replacing.
another common fault is the pump blocked the machine wont spin if there is water inside. put the machine onto spin and see if it drains the water out if it doesnt then the pump is probably blocked or needs replacing.
