about two years ago i got one of these cookers off ebay for a 5 pounds it had a problem with oven controll nob , me being a cheap skate i took the top off and sore that the controller was made of plastic and some of the metal spade end had melted the plastic this is a comman fault due to heat of oven and current so you can buy these for about 70 to 100 pounds but i relined mine and glued it with liquid metal or two comp heat resistant glue and it has worked fine untill about three weeks ago when i started to get another problem where the oven would work then switch off half way through cooking some thing and then come back on some time later then finaly stop altogether so i have just got another faulty cooker to make one good out the two because i worked out that the lcd timer had a dry connection on the circuit board these timers are about 80 to100 pounds but the other cooker i got is the same model number but the wirering is different and so was the timer slightly different so i just resolder the dry connection and now seems to be ok at the moment but only just done it so not had time to cook anything yet if you are able to take the top off and check for burnt wires ,loose connections then work to these timer and control switch but make sure u have unpluged the the power first before starting if you need some help i have some second hand bits if they are the same as yours email me and i will try and send pic of these thing i have found and you can try liminate these email at cjdjf@hotmail.com
