Fabric conditioner not emptying from Zanussi?

I've noticed on the last few washes my Zanussi FJS 1425W has not been emptying the fabric conditioner. I have pulled out the tray and cleaned it along with the inside of the tray compartment cleaning the outlet holes but it still doesn't work. This has happened before but was due to residue build up on the tray. Machine is 5 years old and seems to work fine apart from this. Had a couple of problems though with machine filling up and then immediately emptying with error code E10 but have increased the hight of the outlet hose and this seems to have fixed the problem.
