how to change the belt on my maytag performa PYE2300AYW?

I must say, it is very simple to change a dryer belt, just watch some of the videos, to know how to wind the belt around the motor, because you can't see inside, so you have to feel where the wheel and motor are. It took about 5 min. To put the new belt on. The belt was $20.00 and the labor was free, since I did it myself. I am a woman who likes to fix things myself if possible. :)

You first need to life the top of the dryer off. It has two clips on the front, and two open hinges on the back, so that shouln't be a problem.

Then, inside the dryer, the front panel is held in place with a screw on each side. Remove the screws and you can pull and lift the frontpanel off.

Then you should be able to slip the belt of off the driving wheel and lift the and pull the drum out.
