I have an XL6N which stopped working overnight. On opening up the heater I found the element was burnt out. I replaced the element but the same thing happened again.
This model of heater doesn't have an adjustable thermostat and I'm unsure which part regulates the temperature?
I have had my second element burn out - within one year - the second element has only been on about three weeks,I do wonder if there is jsut a problem with the design of these heaters.

I posted about a XL6N not heating properly and then found the thermostat/ O/L cut out to be faulty. As it's the only other thing in the circuit I would suggest that's what could be wrong.
