Both the Ford and Sony units fitted to new mondeos are made by Visteon, neither by ford or Sony!. It is not advisable to change the head units on these cars as the CAN bus that connects the EATC/Cluster (Aircon / Speedo) relys on the radio being there! you may find that something else will go wrong with your car! Removal of the radio requires 4 special keys, Flat bits of mettal with a small hook. thjese go into the four corners of the radio ten pull!.
