Why has happened to my dryer that makes a funny noise but does not come on when I try to use it?It does not run but was fine yesterday...its a maytag ..do not have model numbers,etc.
Your dryer does have a model number, you just haven't found it. Sometimes the ID plate is inside the door...sometimes along the bottom. Go to Maytag's website and you should get info about where to find the model number.
