Mend Hotpoint WD860 Washer Dryer Repair

How can I fix my washer/dryer, hotpoint, WD860?

My washer does not seem to fill up enough with water. We had a technician around once and he accessed the programming some how to allow more water in.
Any ideas how to actually do this.
