how can i make it sound ok?

my downloads were fine but now when i play the music it sounds like its being played in a hall and sounds very tinny

firstly what kind of sound card do u have? the odds are its either a driver issue or you have accidently turned on and eax effect. this is possible whether u have an ac97 onboard audio or a creative liv,audigy, or x-fi.
