My Hotpoint WM61 won't empty the water and won't spin?
When I put the washer onto spin the drum just turns but won't go into spin mode. I have changed the brushes but the problem is still the same. I have checked the filters on the pump and they are clear. Now I have drained the water out of the drum it will spin, I have noticed that the pump is not turning when in spin mode. IS THE PUMP THE PROBLEM? PLEASE HELP AS MY UNDIES NEED A WASH!!!
if you remove the outlet hose from the pump and remove either a bra wire or a tack or coin there is something blocking the impeller from pumping the water out, if you can remove the pump and strip it down at no cost you clean it out and replace
