Mend Ford Escort Diesel Immobiliser Ignition

Ford escort diesel immobilser?

Hi i bought a 1998 diesel escort and the previous owner put the wrong key in ignition and now wont start with proper key does anyone now a quick fix for this or how to remove the immobilser????

Ford Ford Escort Vehicles, Vans Diesel Immobiliser Ignition

Shouldn't have been a problem with wrong key! Try disconnectiong the battery for a couple of minutes. Before reconnecting put key in ignition and turn to on position. Turn off after battery is connected then should start.
Can advise how to remove immobiliser circuit if required. You would need to buy a couple of bits first.
