Veritas 8c setting zones on part set?

What you need is the "engineering" manual, if you feel confident enough to make configuration changes (you will need your "engineers code", and you shouldn't mess with it if you have a maintenance contract for the alarm).

The manual tells you how to "default" your panel, which resets the engineering code... but beware it will lose ALL settings if you do this, so only do it if you are confident.

Hi there,

I keep finding these posts for help while looking for the instruction manual for my alarm! Ive found it now though...

Its got all the information for zone settings in there and a host of other stuff.

However, it looks like you would need to contact the installer if you want to permanently program a different set of zones for the part set option. The manual only really explains how to omit zones when you set the alarm, which sounds like it would only last for that one set and go back to default afterwards.
