Mend Needle Problem Machine

Still Trying and needle shaft locked?

I tried to turn balance wheel back but it is not the problem, so I took balance wheel off machine and the shaft attached is frozen, I tried wd 40 but it does not move. Is there a lock mechanism? what else can I do?

If you have taken the balance wheel off and you cannot move the shaft then it has seized due to lack of oil, WD40 and brute force backwards shoulkd free it off, can you get the bobbin case out or is the needle stuck down ?
