Mend Fiat Punto 55 SX 1997

When does the cam belt need changing for Fiat Punto 55sx?

Thiniking of buying a Fiat Punto 55 SX 1997 as a run around. Everything is fine, looks good etc but need to know when cambelt needs changing. its 67000 miles and dont want to buy it and have to fork out. Any help?

60k miles is norm but if its done a lot of town short drives 40-50k is safer should cost about £60 TO REPLACE ..mind you even if it breaks on the 8 valve model it will not damage the engine its just more work to re fit new one because of setting timeing back up
