Mend Ford F195 Clutch Gear

when clutch is depressed transmision will not go in gear?

1995 ford escort 1.9 liter engine. car was shifting fine then it started to shift hard, then it won't go in gear at all. I tryed adusting the clutch but its not helping or i may be doing something wrong. Any help would be greatly apprecieated.

could be the clutch depending on wether its cable or hydrolic if its cable it could be that the cable is streched or needs adjusting if its hydrolic try bleeding it up then go for a clutch
