Mend Creda 48343 Cooker Electric Timer

How to switch on the oven of a Creda Concept Solarglo cooker?

We got a present of a 6-7 year old Creda Concept Solarglo, model 48343. The top part is working fine, so is the grill. The main oven does not respond to anything we've tried. As there is no operation manual with the cooker, we are at a loss. It does not come on even when we pressed the manual button. Could the timer be faulty? Can anybody help?

When the time is set by pressing the buttons as stated, the ovens top and bottom will work. However, I have just had a Smart meter fitted and the power was switched off. When switched on again, it is permanently flashing AUTO and I cannot reset the clock. How do I get out of AUTO? I have switched the mains off for 10-15 mins but the AUTO is still flashing.

Here's the answer to your problem...
You need to set the clock on the oven in order for it to work...
To do this, hold in both the "minute minder" and "cook period" buttons and proceed to set the time with the + and - buttons...
