Mend Technics SCHDV600 Cds Dvds Dvd Help

I can't play any cd's or DVD's on my Technic DVD Hi-fi, can anyone help?

I have a Technics SCHDV600 which is a DVD hi-fi. The problem I am Having is whenever I insert a DVD or cd into the drive I get the usual initial disc search and the message "DVD H02" appears. No discs at all can now be played on my unit. Can anybody help here please. Thanks.

error message hos means your spindle motor is faulty. got the same prob with mine. been trying to find a replacement. probably better to replace dvd separate

Bad spindle motor, (or spindle servo drive ic.)
Spindle motor rotates the small disc that the DVD sits on.

There is a new version of the motor to replace original part.
Unfortunately, it's likely to be an expensive repair.
