Mend Citroën 106Gti/Saxo VTS

How do I remove the rear ABS sensor on a 106Gti/Saxo VTS?

I've stripped the brakes down so I can get at the sensor, and undone the bolt, but now the sensor just rotates in a silver cylinder which wont budge. Any help would be much appreciated
