Mend Grohe Shower Head Drips

Brand new Grohe shower head still drips after 24 hours since use?

We've had a new bathroom installed recently, with a wall-mounted Grohe Modern shower arm (40cm) and head. Behind this is about 1.5m of copper pipe going across then down into the GroheTherm integrated pump unit.

If I remove the head, the water empties from the shower system within 5 mins. With the head attached it drips constantly.

Just how do I stop it dripping with the head on???

Hi, this is not an answer for the Grohe shower, but may give an answer to the problem of the dripping shower head, recently had a look at Aquatronics that was leaking, it, i suppose like all showers, it has a solenoid cut off,if this is not shutting off the supply, then this surely must be the reason for the leak? but the question is ? is it worth replacing the solenoid valve?,it will only be the rubber seal that is worn?, but can you get to it? or do you just get a new shower? the choice is yours !! but the easier option, and the cheapest, and quickest, may be to replace the shower? but do turn the electric off if you do decide to fix-it, otherwise it may turn you off!! STAY SAFE!!

That was my thought as well, and because the holes in the head are so small it comes out very slooooowly. Unfortunately my head and pipe are fixed so no movement likely from those! Glad I'm not alone though.

I'm wondering whether its worth removing one of the rubber "washers" that make up the jets in the head to allow the water to escape quicker?

Would like to try and find a solution because the drip-splash action currently will lead to limescale on bath and plug, and more broken nights sleep!!

the only way is to lower shower head and pipe after use. its because when you turn shower off the main pipe from unit to shower head is still full of water which will come down pipe and keep dripping till pipe empty. i've not met one that don't do it
