Need a code for blaunkpunt car 300?

Iv entered in 1704 as my code as it was it because of a number I found on a sticker. Its not working.
Also when I did this, it went from 7_ _ _ _ to 6_ _ _ _ to 5_ _ _ _. Does it mean I have 5 goes left?
Anyways, can someone please help.
