how to programe the doors to auto lock on a focus 2002?

You follow these instructions

1. Turn on ignition so all dash lights come on BUT DON'T start engine!!
2. Lock the drivers door using the lock button on the door handle and unlock it 3 times - BUT DON'T open door!!
3. Turn off ignition
4. Repeat instruction 2 above
5. Turn on ignition but don't start engine - a beep should be heard
6. Lock the drivers door as before and unlock it - but once only this time: another beep should be heard
7. Turn off ignition
8. Done - whenever you now drive off (inc reverse!!) the doors should lock automatically after about 5-10metres

However, if you let a passenger out with the engine still running auto lock will not engage till you have stopped and turned off the engine!
