Mend Candy 1200 ES Drum Door

Candy 1200 ES Drum Drop?

The drum on my Candy 1200 ES has dropped about an inch so that the door opening is now stretched slightly downward and the spin is very noisy. Has it been damaged by unbalanced loads??
There are 2 struts under the drum and 2 springs holding it at the top and there is no obvious damage...
Thanks for any help or advice.

Sounds like the gas struts have gone thats why it's dropped, get new struts fitted.
