I spent too much time trying to check the circuit breaker, trying to push the reset button over and over. Try to make sure first that the switch is turned off, then unplug and replug in the unit. My disposal shakes the plug out of the wall over time.

If not there is a reset button on unit under the sink ...
Had same problem after someone put chicken bones in disposal
finally got blades to turn after moving blades back and forth ....
