The tick over on my 1989 1.6l vitara is to slow how can i speed it up.

Only do this when engine is at correct temp, as Vitara's have an Idle-Up system which increases idle revs when high voltage circuits are on ie; headlights, de-mister/blower. You could end up with screaming revs otherwise!!!!!
