the hob keeps sparking as if it is trying to light when it is turned off. what can be the problem. it is a belling synergie gas hob. i have changed the fuse but it still keeps doing it.
It sounds as though the button you press to ignite it has stuck in the "in" position with a build up of grease. Try squirting a little WD40 in there, leave it for a while then press it for a few times...should clear it.
