how to set the clock on an ariston single oven?

Oven will not start without clock set,and I dont have instruction book

Ariston what?
Is the clock mechanical or digital?
As a rough guide though, turn the oven on, then twiddle the knobs until you get the manual symbol (usually a hand). The oven should then go 'clunk' and light up.
I usually get a kid to fiddle with it...they're much better than me at it!!
